Tokyo, Japan

In two days, I'll be heading off on Air Canada Flight 001 direct from Toronto, Ontario to Tokyo, Japan (well, technically I'm heading direct to Narita, Japan - a quick 66km train ride from Tokyo). Time to crank up the travel blog.

I'm heading to the University of Hosei in Tokyo for 2 1/2 weeks to participate in the 2008 Youth Encounter on Sustainability, organized by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (also known as ETH). Internet access and embarassing social protocol blunders will probably be fairly regular (note to self: slurping soup - fine. Gesturing wildly with chopsticks - no dice).
